Learn to Knit:
Learn everything you need to get started on the right foot. Skills you will learn include long tail cast-on, reading a pattern, knitting, purling, adding in a novelty yarn, making an I-cord and binding off.
Four 90-minute sessions - $80 (plus the cost of supplies)
Prerequisites:
Purchase the supplies at Noe Knit before the class begins. (This course assumes no previous knitting ability.)
Hat Class:
We will learn the construction of a hat. In the first class we will review casting on and begin the hat on circular needles. The next class will cover double pointed needles and decreasing in different patterns. Whether you are new to hats or have done some and want to move to the next level, this is the hat class for you.
Two 90-minute sessions - $40 (plus the cost of supplies)
Prerequisites:
Must know how to knit. Experience with knitting on double pointed needles helpful but not necessary.
Felted Purse:
This perfect purse is the perfect project for you after scarves. Using 4 colors of yarn, and combining them together in different combinations, you get this amazing affect. We'll review some of the basics, and teach you to read the pattern with confidence.

Prerequisites:
Must know how to knit.
Cable Hat Class:
This beautiful little hat is the perfect introduciton to cable knitting. In the first class we will review casting on and begin the hat on circular needles. Then we will talk through the mechanics of cable knitting. In the next class we will work the decreases while maintaining the cables. Finally we will finish the hat on double pointed needles. Come in and bring your hat knitting to the next level.

Prerequisites:
Must know how to knit and purl. Experience with knitting on double pointed needles helpful but not necessary.
Diagonal Scarf Class:
This scarf appears to turn from side to side forming triangles. It is done with short row shaping. We will step through the pattern, learning short rows, and showing of the self stripe yarn.

Prerequisites:
Must know how to knit and have some experience. (there are some special stitches that we will learn)
My First Sweater:
Once you have mastered knitting and purling, you are ready for a sweater workshop. We will help you select a pattern and see you through every step of the process. In this six-session class we’ll review the long tail cast-on, do a gauge swatch, learn to read a pattern, decode pattern abbreviations, increase and decrease stitches and learn the fine art of sewing it all together.
Six 90-minute sessions - $120 (plus the cost of supplies)
Prerequisites:
Mastery of both knit and purl (if you can do a ‘rib’ then you are ready for this class). Purchase the supplies at Noe Knit before the class begins — we’ll help you shop!
The Next Sweater: Beyond the Basics:
After you’ve done a sweater, we’ll move to a more intricate pattern. In this class, we will work on a sweater with a simple pattern or a cable in it. We have a selection of pre-approved sweater patterns to choose from. You can also seek instructor approval for a pattern that you have been considering.
Six 90-minute sessions - $120 (plus the cost of supplies)

Clap-o-tea Party:
The Clapotis is one of the most popular projects ever published. It’s kind of a ‘sharf’—somewhere between a shawl and a scarf—and is done on the diagonal with dropped stitches. Silk? Wool? Cotton? Whatever you like!

Prerequisites:
Advanced beginner. Mastery of both knit and purl.
Lace Knitting:
Come and learn lace knitting! Beginning with a beautiful scarf, you will learn all the increases and decreases, and study following the chart as well as the written pattern.

Prerequisites:
Mastery of both knit and purl. (If you can do a ‘rib’ then you are ready for this class.)
Aran Scarf:
Chiaki has written this pattern for a scarf that makes cables an art form. She will teach following the chart as well as the written pattern.
Two 90-minute sessions - $40 (plus the cost of supplies)
Prerequisites:
Mastery of both knit and purl, and some basic cable skills are required.
Felted Cloche:
This is a darling hat in the Roaring 20’s style. We will make the hat in class and you will felt it when you are done. The hat starts on a circular needle, then moves to double pointed needles at the top.

Prerequisites:
Must know how to knit. Experience with knitting on double pointed needles helpful but not necessary.
Fruit Cap:
Ann Norling’s famous Fruit Cap pattern is the perfect project on which to learn Fair Isle knitting.

Prerequisites:
Advanced beginner. Experience from the hat class (or comparable knitting experience) necessary.
Socks!:
You will learn how to knit socks in three lessons, tackling the each step in a class. The socks will be done cuff-down, on two circular needles. Once you have mastered the skill on one sock (in class) you will be ready to go home and make the other one.

Prerequisites:
Mastery of both knit and purl as well as experience with using double pointed needles.
Needle Felting:
Learn how to take roving (unspun wool) or any wool yarn and create beautiful felted pieces with a barbed needle. Needle felting can be used to add accents to knitwear, cloth or felted accessories. We’ll show you the basics, then how to use needle felting in projects such as bags, ornaments and clothing. You will leave the class with a felted flower.
One 60-minute session - $40 (supplies included)
Prerequisites:
None. No knitting is involved in this class.
